At Mie Japanese University, they created a portable solar power station with a battery. This is not the first such experiment, but the Japanese version has more power, a more capacious built-in battery, protection from low temperature, humidity, strong wind and rain. The developers claim that the service life of solar cells reaches 10 years. The power of a portable power plant is 120 watts. On a sunny day, the battery will charge about two hours. The battery weighs 2 kilograms, its dimensions are 140 × 45 × 370 mm. A folding solar battery consisting of nine sections 50 × 42 cm and a total weight of 3 kilograms goes to the power station. In case of failure of one of the sections, the user will be able to replace it on his own. The portable power station will be available in September at a price of $ 1889.
