Advertising penetrates all spheres of human life, she came to the WhatsApp instant messenger. The owner of the Facebook messenger, using advertising displays, is going to receive additional financial income. WhatsApp plans include showing ads to its users in statuses (stories), which was announced at the Facebook Marketing Summit (FMS19) in the Netherlands. Technically, the status of WhatsApp is almost identical to Instagram Stories, through which advertising is currently underway. All commercial offers for both Facebook-driven applications will work on the same principles. Facebook’s long-term plans to promote advertising through WhatsApp were not disclosed. Presumably advertising may subsequently appear in the dialogue menu between chats. In the meantime, the innovation will affect only statuses and only from next year. Note that the selected location for displaying ads in the application should not be very annoying for most users, many of them do not often check the \photo supplemented with text or text with a PDF file. In addition, closer integration of WhatsApp and Facebook will take place on the basis of advertising platforms.
