Kingston Company promises multi-level protection of user data to customers of the new secure USB flash drive DataTraveler 2000 with USB 3.1. Firstly, the product supports 256-bit AES encryption technology in XTS mode. Secondly, an alphanumeric mini-keyboard for entering a PIN code for accessing data is located on the drive case. Thirdly, protection against password re-entry is provided – after 10 unsuccessful attempts to unlock the encryption key and password are deleted without the possibility of recovery, and automatic locking when removing the USB flash drive from the USB port. The novelty is made in an aluminum case and is protected from dust and water. There is also a protective cap that prevents accidental pressing of buttons on the keyboard. Kingston DataTraveler 2000 will be available with a capacity of 16, 32 or 64 GB. The last 2 versions guarantee read and write speeds of 135 and 40 MB / s, respectively.
