Apple has announced an update to its MacBook and MacBook Air lineups. Models from the MacBook series received a new sixth-generation Intel processor Core M (Skylake architecture) with clock speeds in the range from 1.1 GHz to 1.3 GHz, depending on the configuration and Intel HD Graphics 515, which provides an increase in graphics performance by 25%. The RAM modules are also replaced, now they are faster and have a clock frequency of 1866 MHz. Notebook battery life increased by an hour. Now, the updated MacBook’s battery can provide 10 hours of Wi-Fi surfing and 11 hours of continuous video viewing. Another addition to the 12-inch device was the appearance of the color \As for the 13-inch MacBook Air, from now on the laptop will come with 8 GB of RAM as standard. Previously, the simplest configuration included 4 GB of RAM, RAM expansion was carried out on order for $ 100. The 11-inch MacBook Air as standard is still equipped with 4 GB of RAM. Sales of the updated MacBook will start from $ 1300 in the United States and 106 990 rubles in Russia. The basic configuration includes an Intel Core m3 processor with a clock frequency of 1.1 GHz, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB flash drive.
