The latest achievement in this industry is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm to recognize gait as an individual feature person. It turned out that you can identify a person by gait, as by fingerprints. This algorithm was created by researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The identifier developed by them is able to recognize a person by a walk in less than 200 milliseconds, even if he is wearing a mask, and this action has a radius of 50 meters. Moreover, the AI can easily recognize the desired object even in the crowd. Currently, the accuracy of the system is 1,000 people in an area of one square kilometer. It is clear that such an identifier is invaluable for identifying wanted criminals if there are video materials in the database that capture the movements of this person; to ensure safety in transport, especially in aircraft. Such an invention is also very valuable for the fight against terrorism, therefore, the need has ripened to create a database of individuals suspected of preparing terrorist attacks and terrorist communications in order to identify this world evil in a timely manner.
