ASUS introduced the world’s thinnest ultrabooks ZenBook UX430 and ZenBook UX530, equipped with discrete graphics cards. Both new items have a metal case and thin frames around the display, operate on the seventh-generation Kaby Lake Intel Core i7 processor, and Windows 10 Pro acts as the operating system. The dimensions of the ZenBook UX430 are comparable to 13-inch laptops, but the new product uses a 14-inch FullHD-resolution IPS-display with a 178-degree viewing angle and thin frames. Inside the laptop there is a seventh-generation Kaby Lake processor (a dual-core Core i7-7500U with a frequency of 3.5 GHz is offered in the maximum configuration), a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce 940MX with 2 GB of memory, 16 GB of RAM, and a 128 / SSD drive (SATA 3) 256/512 GB, wireless modules Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1, web-camera. The sound is answered by Harman / Kardon stereo speakers with a power of 2 watts. Among the connectors are: USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 2.0, micro HDMI, 3.5 mm audio jack and SD card slot. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the touchpad. The manufacturer promises up to 9 hours of battery life. Dimensions of the device: 324 x 225 x 15.9 mm, weight – 1.25 kg. ASUS ZenBook UX530 differs from the ZenBook UX430 only in a larger screen up to 15.6 inches, a more powerful NVIDIA GeForce 950MX graphics card and dimensions (360 × 246 × 16.9 mm, weight – 1.63 kg). ZenBook UX430 goes on sale in gold, gray and pink. ZenBook UX530 will be presented in a gray and blue case. The start date of sales and the cost of new products are still unknown.
