The American company Energizer, known worldwide for the production of batteries, batteries, chargers and flashlights, introduced two smartphones – Energy E520LTE and Energy E550LTE, made according to the IP68 standard, which makes them immune to water, dirt and dust. The older Energizer Energy E520LTE model received an 11.1 mm thick shockproof case and a Gorilla Glass 3-coated screen that protects the 5.5-inch Full HD display (1920 × 1080 pixels) from scratches. Also included is an extra glass from Asahi. The processor function is performed by the 8-core MediaTek 6755 with a clock frequency of 2 GHz, working in tandem with 4 GB of RAM. The capacity of the flash drive is 64 GB. During operation, a 4000 mAh battery with MediaTek Pump Express 3.0 fast charging technology responds. In addition, the device has a dual main camera with 13 megapixel and 8 megapixel modules, an eight-megapixel front-facing image sensor, an LTE module and a fingerprint scanner. The novelty goes on sale in the summer at a price of € 499. For such money, the smartphone does not have the flagship stuffing. Most likely, the creators are counting on the name, a large battery and protection of the device according to the IP68 standard, but often this is not enough for the buyer to decide to pay the requested amount. The Energizer Energy E550LTE is equipped with a 5.2-inch HD screen (1280 × 720 pixels), a 4-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash memory, 13-megapixel main and 5-megapixel front cameras, a fingerprint scanner, LTE module and 4000 mAh battery with support for second-generation Pump Express fast charging. The device will go on sale in May for € 299.
