The BlackBerry company introduced new smartphones that are unremarkable and even devoid of the features of the proprietary devices – the physical keyboard. Evolve and Evolve X do not look different from each other and support facial recognition. The new products have: 5.99-inch IPS-display with Full HD + resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels, 18: 9 aspect ratio) and Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass, a fingerprint scanner on the back of the case, a 16 MP front camera with aperture f / 2.0 and viewing angle of 78 °, 64 GB of internal flash memory, USB-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack, 4000 mAh battery with quick and wireless charging function. Both are running Android 8.1 Oreo with BlackBerry’s proprietary DTEK interface. The budget model Evolve received an octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor with a frequency of 1.8 GHz and 4 GB of RAM. The main camera is equipped with conventional and monochrome matrices of 12 megapixels and 13 megapixels, respectively. Evolve is priced at $ 365, and the Evolve X comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chip with 2.2 GHz and 6 GB of RAM. Rear camera with double optical zoom due to an additional telephoto lens.
