The Kalashnikov concern posted a video on its website demonstrating the capabilities of a branded hoverbike – an aircraft equipped with several screws. The test flight on the prototype was performed by the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, and judging by the video, the passenger octocopter is able to climb several meters in height and confidently fly in a straight line. A flying motorcycle with sixteen electric motors and eight mounted propellers is capable of transporting one adult in the air. To control the copter, special joysticks are used located in front of the pilot’s seat. No other characteristics of the novelty are reported, as well as the date of the appearance of the first serial devices. Perhaps the developers will still modify the transporter, for example, they will close the blades to prevent accidental / deliberate injuries to people around. Recall that this is not the only Russian development of a flying motorcycle. Hoversurf showed off its latest Scorpion 3 hoverbike this year.
