As it became known, Google will soon expand its list of operating systems. Now it includes the well-known and recognized worldwide Android, as well as Chrome OS. However, references to a new platform called Fuchsia (\Unlike the aforementioned OSes, the future novelty does not use Linux as a basis. It will run on the basis of the Little Kernel kernel with Magenta components. This factor will theoretically allow the use of Fuchsia OS in any system, from embedded devices with limited hardware to modern smartphones and computers. To create a user interface in the operating system, the Flutter framework is used; the Escher engine with support for OpenGL and Vulkan is responsible for rendering. Fuchsia is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit ARM chips, as well as 64-bit processors for personal computers. The main programming language is Dart. However, in the near future you should not expect that Fuchsia OS will replace Android and / or Windows, OS X. It is possible that the search giant is preparing a platform that will become an analogue of Samsung’s Tizen OS. Or it will be designed for virtual reality and robotics. In any case, Google developers say that the new project is open, and very soon the assembly of the system for Raspberry Pi 3 will be released.
