Google has introduced a major update for one of the most popular services. Google Earth, available in a redesigned web version and application for Android smartphones, offers not only an improved interface, but also several interesting functions that allow you to broaden your horizons without leaving your home – the update includes interactive tours to different corners of the Earth. In a collaboration with BBC Earth, a development company offered about fifty collections, so far only in English. In the \After clicking on this button, the user enters a random but interesting place. Each location is equipped with a three-dimensional map and a description from the Wikipedia Internet encyclopedia with a list of the main attractions. Also interesting is the function “This is Home”, thanks to which you can see the national dwellings of many peoples of the world and read information about them. Adaptation of the program to other non-Google browsers and iOS will appear, according to the developers, very soon. While they can use Google Earth 7 for desktops – the previous version is available for download on the official website.
