Google Maps tracks your vehicle’s speed

From now on, not only the traffic police, but also smartphones using the Google Maps application will monitor the safety of your car. A new feature of the popular application allows you to track speed limits on specific roads. If your vehicle exceeds the set speed, the application signals a special notification in the lower left corner of the screen. The ability to control the speed of movement appeared in Google Maps after the company acquired the Waze application in 2013. In addition to an impromptu speedometer, this application allowed Google Maps to track installed speed cameras and include alerts about accidents on the roads. Speed limit alert not available in Android Auto. In addition, Google Maps is currently tracked only in Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, India, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
