Google Fuchsia shrouded in mystery is still a secret. However, during the Google I / O 2019 conference last week, the developers first revealed some details of the new OS, which, as it turned out, was not intended to replace Android and Chrome. The new experimental operating system is an open source project. Nevertheless, the developers from Google created for Fuchsia a completely new kernel called Zircon, while the Android and Chrome OS are based on the Linux kernel. Also, the head of the Google research division emphasized that the main purpose of Fuchsia is not to replace Android and Chrome, but to create an operating system to work with various form factors. Such a statement suggests the possibility that Fuchsia is designed to work on smart home devices and augmented or virtual reality devices. Also, optimization of the operating system for working in the world of the Internet of things is not ruled out. According to the developers, Fuchsia is currently in the process of experimenting and testing.
