Quite often, we receive a lot of letters in one chain: for example, these are notifications of responses to the forum, notifications of incoming parcels, and so on. On the one hand, you don’t want to add such letters to spam – nevertheless, the information you need. But, on the other hand, it is not urgent, and I do not want it to distract you.
In iOS 13, Apple solved this problem in a standard mail client – now you can turn off notifications in any mail chain. Important – you do not disconnect notifications from the sender, you disconnect notifications only in this chain of letters. That is, if the sender writes you a new letter with a different subject – you will receive a notification, answer in the mail chain – there will be no notification.
To turn off notifications in a specific conversation, swipe it from right to left> More> Do Not Notify.
After that, a crossed-out bell icon (the rightmost screenshot above) will appear opposite this conversation. In order to turn on notifications again, follow the same steps, only now select the “Notify” item.
