Lenovo eliminates mobile brand ZUK

The leadership of the Chinese company Lenovo is still determined by which mobile brands to “live” and which time to “rest”. At the beginning of this year, information about the manufacturer’s intention to stop the production of smartphones under the Motorola and Vibe brands leaked to the network, starting to produce devices under a single Lenovo moto. However, later the Russian representative office of the company announced a review of the decision. All Lenovo smartphones will go under the Motorola brand – all the same, this name is much more famous, and therefore can attract more potential buyers. Now it’s become known that the ZUK sub-brand will also be eliminated, and therefore ZUK Edge is the last flagship smartphone released under the ZUK brand. Recall that earlier this year Lenovo decided to merge all units producing smartphones into one single brand. Analyst Pan Jiutang confirmed that the ZUK Mobile division, which lasted 23 months and released 5 devices during this time, will indeed be eliminated. Whether Lenovo will support further software updates and after-sales service of branded mobile devices is not reported., Weibo
