Marshall, a British company for the production of musical sound amplifiers and speakers, introduced the Marshall Kilburn Bluetooth speaker – the first speaker in the company’s lineup to be freed from wires. The device is made in the traditional style of Marshall guitar amplifiers, and also has one of the loudest speakers in its class.
The design of the speaker is made in the spirit of the classic Marshall amplifiers. Distinctive features include a vinyl-wrapped case, a metal grille on the speakers with a logo, analog switches and gold-colored knobs. The novelty is presented in black (Kilburn Black) and beige (Kilburn Cream).
The speaker system has a subwoofer (15 W) and two domed four-inch speakers (2×5 W). This provides not only powerful bass, but also a wide sound stage, a clear panorama and detailed sound. The frequency range is 62 – 20,000 Hz. Compact dimensions (242x140x140 mm), light weight (3 kg) and a leather strap in a guitar style will allow you to take the speaker with you.
You can listen to music from your smartphone or tablet by transmitting it via Bluetooth version 4.0 + EDR or via a 3.5 mm cable. Thanks to the built-in battery at an average volume level, the gadget will work for about 20 hours without recharging. The cost of the Marshall Kilburn starts at 24 190 p.
