It seems that the owners of the Hilton hotel chain intend to switch to robotic workers in the near future. At least the first step in this direction has already been taken by them. The fact is that Hilton Worldwide and IBM, as part of a joint pilot project called \His role will be played by the humanoid robot Nao from the French manufacturing company Aldebaran. Connie is named after the founder of the Hilton hotel chain, Conrad Hilton, and thanks to the IBM Watson platform, developed specifically for the hospitality industry, it can welcome guests, answer their questions about hotel services and facilities, and is also able to recommend restaurants and popular tourist attractions. The software platform is designed so that the robot improves its communication skills with people, and therefore each question asked is stored in memory for future use.
