A team of specialists from NVIDIA, Aalto University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology demonstrated a neural network that can clean photos from noise, and the system has never seen the original images. Noise2Noise AI trained in 50 thousand photographs. Among them was everything – from MRI images to frames created by a computer, where there were random artifacts and noise. The neural network is taught to remove all these noises and restore purity with details quite close to the original image. Over time, the development will be possible to use in software related to the restoration and processing of photographs, medical images, frames from UAVs, etc.
