The Guinness Book of Records got a Norwegian drone called Megacopter, which was able to lift 1 meter to a height and hold for about 30 seconds a weight of about 60 kg (134.5 pounds). The apparatus was built by students from the University of Oslo under the direction of Professor Henning Pedersen. The drone is a system of eight small hexacopter connected by a wooden and aluminum frame, as well as a chassis of four inflatable gymnastic balls. In total, Megakopter received 48 electric motors, which create a lot of noise around itself. According to students, the device is capable of lifting up to 150 kg of cargo into the air, but could not hold out at the right height for 30 seconds, and these were the basic conditions necessary for recording in the Book of Records.
