The Chinese company OnePlus introduced the new OnePlus 2 smartphone, which, like the first device, calls the “flagship killer”, however, the flagships of 2016. OnePlus 2 received a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 and a pixel density of 401 ppi, a screen-protecting Gorilla Glass, a 64-bit eight-core Snapdragon 810 with a maximum clock speed reduced to 1.8 GHz. The amount of RAM can be 3 or 4 GB LPDDR4, internal – 16 or 64 GB, respectively. There is no microSD card slot, but there are two slots for nanoSIM. On the back there is a 13-megapixel main camera with f / 2.0 aperture, optical stabilization and laser autofocus. The front camera received a resolution of 5 MP. The smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi modules 802.11a / b / g / n / ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. As a connection port, a new symmetrical USB Type-C is used. The capacity of the built-in battery is 3300 mAh.
There is a new product based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the OxygenOS shell. Dimensions of the smartphone: 151.8×74.9×9.85 mm, weight: 175 g. The appearance of the new product as a whole repeats the design of its predecessor.
The frame is made of magnesium alloy, and the buttons are made of metal. The back cover can be changed to any of the proposed options (there are: classic black, Kevlar, bamboo and wooden solutions). OnePlus 2 will go on sale from August 11.
The basic version with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory is estimated at $ 330, the version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory will cost $ 390.
