Panasonic worthily performs at IFA 2017, the world exhibition of electrical goods for consumers, held in the German capital. The company presented an OLED display, perfectly transparent. This is, albeit a functional, but still a prototype. Representatives of the manufacturer promised a speedy appearance of the model on store shelves. A similar technology can be applied to a TV at home. Panasonic experts have provided other scenarios for its use, for example, for entrance groups of glass or interactive storefronts. Transparent screens can also be combined with touch coverage. According to Michael Langben, who heads the PR office at Panasonic’s German office, last year at CES 2016 the company already demonstrated a “young” panel prototype. The updated transparent screen is equipped with 4K resolution and OLED technology. Langben is confident that very soon this product will be mass-distributed, because production and science are moving forward rapidly.
