The more compact and functional the gadget, the often better. Finnish engineers from Oura believed that a tracker to track the user’s health should not take up much space, so they developed a ring-shaped gadget. In terms of functionality, the novelty is in no way inferior to larger devices, such as smart bracelets and watches. The product determines the oxygen content in the blood, heart rate, body temperature, sleep quality, blood pressure and much more. The creators have not voiced all the possibilities. It is likely that the details will be released closer to release – in October this year. The Oura ring case is made of durable waterproof material – zirconia ceramics. The battery life is 3 days, which is quite impressive. To recharge the tracker requires no more than one hour in a special stand in the form of a cup. The ring transfers all the information collected to the companion application installed on the smartphone (devices on iOS and Android are supported). It does not require a permanent connection with a mobile device. In the absence of a smartphone nearby, the ring will save the obtained values on the built-in memory module until it is possible to transfer them. The estimated cost of the ring is $ 250. Acceptance of pre-orders starts in July. The Oura ring tracker will be available in different sizes and colors (so far, three options have been announced: white, glossy black and matte black).
