Korean company LG Electronics and the Russian holding company Schwabe, part of the state-owned corporation Rostec, showed a curious interactive glass. A transparent OLED matrix is built into it. It is planned that electronic transparent panels will be used in subway cars and electric trains. They are also suitable for shop windows and public transport. The first example of such a screen was demonstrated at the Innoprom-2019 international industrial exhibition, which was held in Yekaterinburg from July 8 to 11. They are going to produce smart displays at the Lytkarinsky Optical Glass Plant. These windows are based on the OLED matrix, the transparency of which from 2 sides is 38%. The surface can be left translucent or switched to the regular color display mode, displaying arbitrary multimedia content on it. The companies that produce transport, especially the railway, are most interested in the project. Over time, windows screens want to apply in other areas. What is the cost of introducing the development and how soon the Russians will be able to see it in everyday life, not reported.
