Tom’s Guide journalists tested the performance of the recently released Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phablet. For the experiment we took a version of the smartphone with the Snapdragon 845 chip (in most countries of the world it will be sold with the Exynos 9810 processor), 6 GB of RAM and a 128 GB flash drive, which the test was compared with other top-end mobile devices of other companies. According to the processor performance in the Geekbench 4 test, the flagship Galaxy Note 9 took third place, gaining 8 876 points. He was beaten by the iPhone X with 10 357 points and OnePlus 6 with 9 088 points. However, the novelty broke the record of its line, last year’s Note 8 received only 6,564 points, which is 35% lower than Note 9. As for the graphic elements, the 3D Mark Slingshot Extreme 3.1 benchmark showed similar test results. Galaxy Note 9 was again in third place with 4,639 points. Outrunning it, OnePlus 6 and iPhone X received 5 124 and 4 994 points, respectively. Samsung Galaxy S9 + received almost the same points as its counterpart – 4,634 points.
