Samsung has officially announced the launch of the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with an updated UX shell for the flagship Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. In addition to these models, other smartphones listed on the manufacturer’s list will receive the update. Samsung draws attention to the increased speed of downloading applications and updates, the improved design of the Quick Panel notification panels and reminders (now you can reply to messages without opening the application itself), an updated screen split Multi window, which allows besides two applications to run up to five more programs in windows. New performance modes are aimed at optimizing the device according to user actions. For example, choose the optimal mode for long battery life or for games. In the first half of 2017, the update will be available to: Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, S6 edge Plus, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE), Galaxy A3, and Galaxy A8. The exact release dates for Android 7.0 Nougat for these models Samsung has not published.
