It seems that the South Korean company Samsung plans to expand the range of smartphones based on Tizen – in 2016, the appearance of a top model. This step is quite predictable, given that the proprietary operating system in the third quarter of this year managed to become the fourth mobile OS after Android, iOS and Windows Phone, bypassing the BlackBerry platform. In addition, having in its assortment only two budget devices Z1 and Z3, whose sales are mainly focused on countries with low paying capacity, it is difficult to count on an expanded circle of consumers. Unfortunately, there is no specific information about the top-end smartphone being developed. The company itself is trying to enrich the scarce content of the Tizen OS, inviting developers of third-party applications and programs to collaborate. So, the assortment of popular applications already has a VLC and Facebook video player.
