Inventor from Canada William Liddard demonstrated the unique Liddiard Wheels wheels of his own invention, which are able to move the car not only in the usual directions, but also perpendicular to the side or around its axis. This way of moving, according to the author, will be convenient when performing parallel parking and other complex maneuvers. Omnidirectional wheels in their characteristics are not inferior to classic counterparts and are adapted for driving on roads in all weather conditions. In addition, their installation does not require modernization of the design of a wheeled vehicle. In the video presented, the prototype Liddiard Wheels is installed on the Toyota Echo of the inventor. While moving to the side is not so fast, however, Liddard is already working on the next version of the omnidirectional wheel, which will have a large value of torque. Also, a man is looking for a manufacturer for his design.
