In the outskirts of Albuquerque (New Mexico, USA), in the small town of Tijeras, the smart speaker reacted to the scandal in a private house and independently contacted 911 by phone. The sheriffs and SWAT detachment who arrived at the scene resolved the conflict and arrested the family rapist having prevented a serious crime against a mother and her daughter. According to the American media, a scandal began between a woman who was in the house with her daughter and her friend, the owner of the house, Eduardo Barros. During the incident, Eduardo pulled out a gun and asked the girl, “Did you call the sheriffs?” In the house there was a smart speaker connected to the smart home system, which responded to the phrase “call the sheriffs” and, taking this as an alarm command, dialed 911 service. The operator heard the scandal in the background and sent it to the sheriffs, and later on special detachment SWAT. The sheriffs took the mother and daughter out, and after an hour of negotiations the special squad disarmed and arrested the bully, who is now charged with several serious charges: possession of weapons, domestic violence and others. According to the first reports of the ABC news service, it was a Google Home column, but later this fact was refuted – in the house there was a column of another (unspecified) manufacturer. Constantly working \Earlier this year, the Amazon Echo smart column testified in the murder case. Curious cases also happen. Burger King inserted the phrase “Ok Google, what is a Whopper burger?” Into a television commercial, and all Google Home owners have received comprehensive burger information from their smart devices.
