The idea of installing renewable energy sources in cities was reflected in the concept of smart Totems that look like street lamps. They occupy little space at the bottom and are able to accumulate solar energy for subsequent lighting, distributing Wi-Fi via the 4G modules they have, as well as recharging gadgets and electric vehicles. Each “petal” of the Totem will be able to generate 5 kW. Moreover, if the accumulated energy is not enough, the installation will be able to receive the missing volume from the general power grid, to which it is proposed to connect it. Excess energy will be stored in batteries located in the installation barrel. Each Totem will have a power of 50 kW, and they will continue to work even in the event of a power outage. The first Totem is planned to be installed in the middle of next year.
