How to drink a cup of invigorating espresso in space? Previously, guests of the ISS had to use a plastic bag and a straw for this – a bag with freeze-dried beverage concentrate was attached to a special unit from which water was collected. But this year, NASA delivered Zero-G cups specially designed for zero gravity to the station. They brew a drink in a coffee machine developed in Italy together with the famous coffee manufacturer Lavazza. IRPI LLC took part in the development of space cups, which posted several clips on the network with product testing – its unusual shape, wetting effect and surface tension forces allow it to hold liquid inside the tank, despite weightlessness.
