The first experiments, but so far without the use of drugs, have already been carried out, and an amazing video serves as proof. The tiny robot, whose length is only five micrometers, is assembled from 3 gold particles connected by loops of silver. The movement of the little helper is corrected by the magnetic field. And the maximum speed of the robot is 5.5 micrometers per second. A team of experts from China, America and Israel came up with and implemented the idea. The specialists plan to create biodegradable robots and produce serial samples that will be designed for the medical industry. It is assumed that the robot will also be able to deliver the desired drug through the urinary tract or when injected into the eyeball (to transport the drug directly to the retina). The preparation of a fully working model will take from 5 to 10 years.
