A few days ago, the first reports about the iPhone 8 Plus appeared, in which, for some reason, the battery swelled and squeezed the display out of the case. Sales of new items are continuing and, as it turned out, the number of similar cases is increasing everywhere. Customers from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Canada and Greece reported battery swelling, most of which had to observe a disfigured smartphone after unpacking the delivered purchase. For the rest of the iPhone 8 Plus, the battery swelled and tore the case from the inside in front of the happy owners of the new product while recharging from the network through branded and official chargers. The only thing in which all the victims agree, the new iPhone does not light up and does not become the cause of almost other property. Apple has already initiated a formal investigation into the incidents, while no comments have been received from the manufacturer. As noted by MacRumors, in the case of the iPhone we are talking about a very small number of apple smartphones, in contrast to the “hundreds, as with the Galaxy Note 7”. On the other hand, sales of the iPhone 8 Plus have just begun.
