Tokyoflash single-hand watch

Famous Japanese manufacturer of unusual watches Tokyoflash introduced a new product called Kisai Katana. The model matches the classic ideas of the clock as much as possible, however the company is not looking for simple solutions – there is only one hand on the dial, which simultaneously displays both hours and minutes.

The secret to reading the exact time in this case is that … it is not. For $ 100, the buyer receives a wristwatch with a single hand stylized as a katana – the legendary sword of the samurai warriors. The creators of the watch offer to determine the time in a very simple and uncomplicated way, rooted in the sundial: if the hand is between 6 and 7 hours, then half past six. If a quarter closer to 7, then a quarter to seven. And if exactly at 7, respectively, exactly 7 o’clock in the morning or evening.
