US officials convince their allies to abandon the use of Chinese-made Huawei equipment in the telecommunications sector. They are already negotiating with competent persons from Germany, Italy and Japan. At the same time, they emphasize the possibility of cyber espionage threats emanating from Chinese technology, discussing this topic with countries in which the US military is present. The fact is that the Internet support of these bases partially depends on local providers, and these companies can use equipment from China. The Pentagon is striving to use its own communications satellites to reduce the risks of cyber espionage, but in the Internet field they are not as protected as we would like. States have long accused Huawei of having too close a relationship with the Chinese government. The company itself denies the slightest influence from the state on its work. Note that the confrontation between the US authorities and Chinese brands Huawei and ZTE began at the beginning of the year. The American side first introduced a complete ban, and then only restrictions on products from the Middle Kingdom. True, not only the reputation and business of Chinese companies, but also American entrepreneurs, who previously willingly purchased quite inexpensive network equipment and products from Huawei and ZTE, were affected.
