The continued popularity of Prisma’s mobile photo app has spawned many clones in Apple and Google’s online stores. Now, the Russian social network VKontakte has decided to test its capabilities and, quite possibly, the number of users in the future, having released its version of the program to transform photographs into masterpieces of art. At the heart of Vinci is the same neural network and other artificial intelligence algorithms that they “create” using various artistic styles and photo effects. Two dozen filters are now available in the application, some of them are named after famous artists by analogy with Prisma. Processed images can be saved on a mobile device, in cloud storage, or hosted on popular social networks. The Vinci mobile app is now available for free installation through the App Store and Google Play. According to representatives of VKontakte, the photo application was launched in test mode, and if the project is successful, tools for styling images can appear in mobile applications of the social network.
