Like the previous Z3 + model, the devices are protected against dust and water according to the IP65 / 68 standard, MicroUSB port (aka MHL 3.0) without a plug, Capless USB, as in all the latest protected Sony models. Sony Xperia Z5 received a 5.2-inch FullHD-display, they promise that the maximum brightness is 700 cd / m2, and the color gamut is 120% of the sRGB space. Inside, an improved 64-bit eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 is installed. According to foreign sources, when recording 4K video, the smartphone practically does not heat up (unlike the predecessor Z3 +, which not only overheated, but also stopped shooting). The amount of RAM – 3 GB, built-in – 32 GB, there is a slot for cards. The Exmor RS main camera received a resolution of 23 megapixels, SteadyShot image stabilization system and, according to Sony, the fastest autofocus system in the world – 0.03s. 5 megapixel Exmor R front camera. The design of the smartphone is very similar to previous models. Aluminum frame and glass front and back. The back panel is made of frosted glass Frozen Glass, thanks to which prints will be less visible. Speaking of fingerprints: Sony decided to add a fingerprint sensor, using the ultrasonic Qualcomm Sense ID 3D in the power button on the side. It now has not a round, but an oblong shape, and the volume rocker has shifted lower. The battery capacity is 2900 mAh. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 OS with the Sony Xperia UI interface. Mini flagship Z5 Compact is not much different from his older brother. The metal frame has given way to a plastic one, and the display has a diagonal of 4.6 inches and a resolution of 1280×720. The amount of RAM is reduced to 2 GB, and the battery has a capacity of 2700 mAh. Otherwise, this is a copy of the Z5 in terms of specifications. Dimensions are: 127x65x8.9 mm, weight: 135 gr. The older model is Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. The flagship received a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 4K (3840×2160), the pixel density is 801 ppi. The smartphone will use the same upscaling algorithms up to 4K as in Sony TVs, both in video and in games and applications. The remaining specifications are similar to the Sony Xperia Z5. Only the battery capacity is increased to 3430 mAh, according to the manufacturer, this is enough for a day of battery life. Dimensions of the device: 154.4×75.8×7.8 mm, weight: 180 g. All three models support 2G / 3G / 4G (LTE Cat.6), the two older ones will be on one as well as on two SIM cards. There is Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac, 2.4 and 5 GHz + Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou. There is also a Qualcomm Quick Charge.
