Chinese manufacturer Oukitel today opened an international pre-order for the U6 smartphone, which ideologically copies the domestic YotaPhone. Many assumed that the analogue of the Russian two-screen phone, despite the average hardware “stuffing”, would receive an impressive price, but in practice the price was very affordable. For a phone with two screens from the Middle Kingdom, it is proposed to pay $ 239.99, which is much cheaper than the original from Yota Devices.
Oukitel U6 is equipped with a main 5-inch HD-display and a 4.7-inch rear E-Ink screen (235 ppi), which supports 16 shades of gray.
It also became known that the Oukitel U6 will run on a four-core MediaTek MT6735M chip. It was a surprise that the company plans to release an improved version of the U6 Pro smartphone, which will run on a more powerful MT6797 Helio X20 processor.
The release of the Pro-version of Oukitel U6 will be delayed until next year, while the base U6 will go on sale in September. The manufacturer noted that during the preliminary sales of the device it will be possible to buy at a big discount.
