In Windows 10, it will be possible to reinstall the system by downloading the image from the cloud. Users will be able to forget about local copies of the OS on flash drives or external hard drives. The innovation is already implemented in Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18970.
In the description of the test build of Windows 10, the developers write: “We read user reviews that many would prefer to use the Internet to download the Windows image.”
When choosing this method of installing the system, you can choose to save your files or delete them completely – applications will be uninstalled anyway. In the reinstallation procedure, there will be a step with downloading from the network about 3 GB of system files.
With cloud recovery, the same assembly and version of Windows 10 will be installed as before. Take advantage of the innovation will be users of all versions of Windows 10 (Home and Pro) on laptops and PCs.
Earlier it became known that the Task Manager in Windows 10 will be useful for gamers. In the Insider Preview Build 18963 assembly, the dispatcher began to display the temperature of the graphic processor (GPU). This innovation will be part of the Windows 10 20H1 update, a public release of which is expected in May 2020.
